God's Astrological Chart !? - Jyotish 2

Logic of Correspondences: Astronomy (Jyotish) to Anantomy (Yoga)

The orientation of planets around the zodiac logically corresponds to the order of signs around a chart and these to their rulership posotions as chakras in the body.

Thus, the Sun and Moon as the two luminaries in the sky are placed next to each other in a chart by the signs they rule (Leo and Cancer correspondingly) and these, in turn, correspond to the two eyes and petals of the chakra.

Then the
astronomical distance of planets from the Sun determines the remaining orientation of the astrological chart. Mercury being the next planet from the Sun governs the signs in a chart that are on either side of the signs Cancer and Leo; that is Gemini before Cancer and Virgo after Leo. This corresponds logically to the next chakra furthest from the top; the throat chakra.

And this process continues until reaching Saturn and the base chakra; which is furthest of the planets from the Sun that is used in Jyotish, and rules Capricorn (opposite Cancer) and Aquarius (Opposite Leo) at the base chakra.

This is the astro-logic on which the law of correspondences and the metaphoric language of astrology works.

Interestingly, Rahu and Kethu are not planets but ecliptic points and represents deeply psychic points to do with the duality of manifestation, re-incarnation and Maya (the veiling/fear and projecting/desire powers of God) and correspond to the Kundalini system upto the Bindu chakra (Rahu ruled by Aquarius) and the crown chakra (Kethu ruled by Scorpio). They are the circle (snake biting its own tail) in which the play manifests and rule the extremes of light (infred Kethu and ultra-violet Rahu) and ends of the body (base Aquarius-Rahu and Kethu crown chakras.)

So ultimately, astrology is a study of the play of consciousness (nature and its highest study through man) in the leela light of illusion (space and time) and its sole purpose is to prepare the mind to see this knowledge of unity in diversity and sensitize the intellect for Truth.

Here's having a brief look at the basic components required to reading this play symptomatically using the astrological chart of Swami's positions to explain His incarnation.

5 Fundamental Building Blocks to Learning Jyotish

1. 9 Planets - Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Sun, Rahu, Kethu

The metaphoric language of the planets as symbols of a greater intelligence, orchestration and administration of Gods karmic law.

2. 12 Signs - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces (each ruled by one of 9 planets ie. Aries by Mars, Taurus by Venus)

(please note that Jyotish is a sidereal chart and based on the fixed constellations as opposed to Western, which is based on a tropical imaginary zodiac and not one based on their actual positions against the backdrop of the constellations, but rather superimposed according to the shifting of the vernal equinox and spring ie. it is solar and seasonal based)

3. 12 Houses
-1st to 12th houses - 1st house is taken as the constellation sign on the eastern horizon at birth, with the remaining houses following anti- clockwise from east to west and back again (4th house under the earth, 7th western horizon and mid-heaven 10th house above). Note that the 1st house is the most important as it refers to the body and person and all the other forces of the chart are funelled through this sensitive point (that changes the fastest with the rotation of the earth moving into a new sign every 2 hours)

4. Aspects
- planetary (and sign aspects) ie. planet in one place will send its rays/aspects to other planets relative to its own sign position (no astronomical evidence for this but rules of the jyotish rishis - Parasara & Jaimini)

5. Yogas (NOT YOGA OF BODY!)- special combinations or placements of planets that give rise to unique expressions of energies. Often involving aspects between planets, relationships between the lords of signs/houses, above factors or other more specific ones.

Other factors not mentioned are: planetary strength, Nakshatras, Divisional charts etc.. but this material gets too advanced here

I will use the basics of the above as well as some other symbolism to explain, using swami's chart, why He is the incarnation of the highest Siva Sakti energies according to Jyotish rules (Brihat Hora Sastra & Jaimini Sutras) as the astrology of the rishis (Parasara & Jaimini of the Krishna era over 5,000 years ago). Of course, this is a personal interpretation of the rules having studies the astrology for years and knowing the yogas that might contribute towards an Incarnation of God.

Swami's Jyotish Chart and Yogas explained

Positions
(by house order)

1st house (eastern horizon) = Mercury in Ascendant in Libra

2nd house = Sun, Satun and Venus (Ascendant lord) in Scorpio
3rd house =
Kethu in Sagittarius
4th house = Jupiter in Capricorn
5th & 6th empty
7th house = Mars in Aries
8th empty
9th house = Rahu (north node of Moon) & Moon in Gemini
10th, 11th & 12th empty

Most Obvious Yogas:

Ruchaka Mahapurusha Yoga
Neechabhanga Raja Yoga for Jupiter
Most powerful Adi Sakti Yoga in the 9th House of Guru

Interpretation

Narayana: Swami has Mercury in the Ascendant (rising sign) which represents the person's body and character. Mercury is the messenger of the Gods and is Hermes in Greek; to which Nostradamus referred to Swami as coming from the East where the 3 oceans meet and has Thursday as his day of rest. In Hinduism, Mercury is related to Vishnu as the incarnation of righteousness and the planets position as the 9th (Guru's) house planetary lord of Gemini in the Ascendant indicates a factor for the descent of this principle.

SAI Shakti: The Moon is the planet of mind and mother, and we know swami is the divine mother. Rahu is the bindu chakra and represents all the potential projecting powers of mind or Maya. When this combination is together it results in a heightened sensitivity of mind and in swami's case it is in the most divine house - the 9th house of Guru, intuition, grace and Truth. This special rare combination is called Adhi Sakti Yoga which means that the person has the original (adi) full powers (sakti) of nature and the mind and powers over Maya. Not only that, they are positioned favourably in Gemini (Rahu's moola position) and as mentioned above, the 9th lord Mercury is positioned in the Ascendant (1st house representing the body and person) adding to its power.

BABA Siva: Aries is the sign associated with Siva, as it represents the formeless creative spirit before manifestation in the sign Taurus. Interestingly, Swami has his Mars in the 7th house in Aries, its own sign. This is called Mahapurusha (great personality) Ruchaka Yoga and gives the person the highest ability to tap the formless source of energy and life force into the body. In Swami's case, this full power of spirit from Mars aspects the 1st house of the body as well as the 2nd house (which indicates ones possessions) where He has the planets Sun (planet of atma), Saturn (planet of Karma and control) and Venus (planet of love and His Ascendant lord) placed. As mentioned in the previous post, Scorpio represents the highest and lowest powers of creation and destruction and the coiled kundalini force. With the Sun (atma) and planets there aspected by Mars, Scorpios own sign lord; this house becomes supremely charged and reveals that He has all power of Siva and transormation in His possession.

Murugan: The perfected Man. In earlier posts it was also explained how Murugan is associated with the same Ascendant that Swami has and many people, as they did with Ramana Maharishi, associate Swami with an incarnation of this Murugan principle. Libra is the sign of perfect equalibrium and Ramana (born on the Nakshatra date assocaited with the manifestation of Arunachala - the Father) has many of the same positions as Swami in the 2nd, 7th and 9th houses but with his birthday on an eclipses reavealing his enlightenment. Swami is God (source of enlightenment) and this perfection of equipose is reflected in Samadhi of balance that is libra. Many great reformers have had this Ascendant. But what becomes apparent is that in this incarnation, all names and forms are reflected astrologcially or otherwise.

Ishwaran: Saturn is the only planet in astrology that is called God or Ishwaran (Shanieshwara). Ultimately He is the controller of time and karma and all planets fall under His jurisdiction (connected to Ganesh and gravity). It is also get its best position in Libra (the sign of balance). In swami's case, this planet is with the Sun (Atma) and Ascendant lord (Venus) and aspected by Mars. In Scorpio this points to Him being the Paratma in form, having supreme control over matter and energy.

World Guru form India: Capricorn is the sign ruling India and the highest and lowest of signs in terms of practical manifestation in the world. Jupiter is the planet of the Guru. Swami has his Jupiter in the 4th house (of home) and it gets a special yoga (debilitated but in an angle and aspected by Capricorn lord Saturn from Scorpio) that makes him the world guru from India with the supreme powers of control (indicated by the signs Capricorn and Scorpio). It also makes him the most practical saviour for the down trodeden and poor.

Thus, Swami's chart, from my analysis and in my opinion, reveals that he has all the powers of Siva (Aries-Scorpio) and Sakti (Moon-Rahu) in his control (Saturn-Capricron-Ganesh) and His chart correlates with astrological rules to prove this. But it is not agreed upon by most astrologers becasue they are not all biased into believing He is God and die to the subtle and exceptionally strong nature of these unique yogas which I hope swami might be helping me explain clearly and truely?! Anyway, examining powerful personalities, divine or otherwise, often proves that there is science and symmetry in Gods plan in this illusiary dream of consciousness.

Logic of Astrology

i) Influences from planets
ii) Symptom of what is ie. everthting part of one unbroken whole which astrology reads
iii) Planets as governed by higher laws and beings that administrate karma etc...

Antarakarana

Astrology believes that the chart is a blue print of a mans character and past karma with pre-ordained patterns. This is not to say it is fixed but the this character maybe best reflected through vedic psychology

The 4 components of mind in the Veda are called Antarakarana (Chitta-memory, Ahamkara-Ego, Buddhi-intellect, Manas-Perception) and these can be correlated to planets and in the Maharishi Yogi Astrology to the different parts and glanglia in the brain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Pure Ego vs limited Ego = Aham vs Ahamkara = Sun vs Saturn

2. Consciousness & memory = Chitta = Moon

3. Intellect = Buddhi = Jupiter (intelligence & intuition) & Mercury (intellect)

4. Mental = Manas = Perception = Mars (dislike) vs Venus (liking)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Sun is the source of life and intelligence in the heart that lends its power to the Moon and mind. The Moon is our basic receptivity, memory, emotional and conditioned brain. Jupiter is the higher mind, conscience, intuition and expansion and creative intelligence of ether that grant oversight, perspective and philosophy to the mind. That is why Jupiter gets its exaltation in the mind chakra ruled by Cancer (Moon). Saturn (ruling Capricorn which is opposite Cancer in the zodiac) rules the structure, foundation, discipline that sets limits for the mind to neurologically filter and build its edifice of thought. Saturn is exalted in the sign of judgement and balance - Libra and rules the nerves and is the "steel" to contain the power of the Sun. Mercury represents the discriminatory intelligence that determines how we build up this mental superstructure based on the conditioning of our Moon and memory, and reveals the pathways and doors in the building of our mind. It is ultimately the planet of all language and communication and operates like the synaptic junctions between the nerves in the brain, determining through their firing, the general communication and plasticity in the brain. Mars is the male orientated brain that is analytical, linear, logical, scientific and technical in its processes whilst Venus is the female orientated brain that is synthetic, lateral, artistic in its processing. Ultimately, all the planets rest on the nodes; the veiling power of memory and past life tendencies indicated by Kethu (the south node of the Moon) and their consequent projection of desire and imagination into life by Rahu; the north node of the Moon.

So from correlating the planets to the antahkarana and mind, we can see that our destiny is reflected in our nature, character and thoughts which to a large extent is reflected within the limitations of our blue print charts and prakriti (nature - swa-dharma)

Also signs can be related to Jungian 4 types by their correlating to the elements or gunas:-

Intellect (funtion of thinking) = Air signs 0f Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

Intuition (function of inspiration) = Fire Signs of Aries, Leo and Sagitarius

Emotion (function of feeling) = Water Signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces

Physical (function of senses) = Earth Signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn

3 Gunas

Raja Guna = Cardinal Signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn (Dynamic - Initiators)

Satwa Guna = Mutable Signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagitarius, Pisces)

Tama Guna = Fixed Signs of Taurus (Bull), Leo (Lion), Scorpio/Eagle, Aquarius (Man)

The fixed cross have a lot to do with manifestation and the physical universe and is important in esoteric knowledge such as the Sphinx, the 4 angels of the bible, the sacred trapezoid in sacred geometry etc... note... that the water signs are moksha signs as when the feelings are purified (thoughts through the "pain body") that there is liberation (Scorpio representing the lower nature mastered and trascended via the Eagle - also Kethu rules Scorpio as well as the crown chakra)

With regards to the elements, the 5 lower chakras are related to the 5 elements that the signs reflect. Jupiter signs, Sagitarius (Fire) and Pisces (Water), are considered partly ruled by element of ether eventhough ruling the 2nd water chakra.

Thus, end this post up with Yoga again, it is interesting that from the strength of a persons planets in a chart (and aspect of mind) we can see which chakra the person operates from (ie. Mercury from the intellect, speech and throat chakra).

Note also that each planet corresponds to an emotion that can be positively or negatively expressed.ie.
Sun = Leadership vs Ego & Tyranny; Mercury = Intelligence & Discrimination vs Trickery, Deception, Jealousy; Mars = Determination vs Anger; Venus = Love vs Lust; Jupiter = Expansion, Faith & Optimism vs Greed etc...
