Music & technology

This is a very short post on music and the last post before entering the heart chakra. It seemed appropriate at this juncture as music is produced from the 5th chakra but resonates and evokes the devotion and love in the next 4th heart chakra.

And some of the earlier posts also explained the power and effect of mantra, bhajans, prayer & yagnas on the environment through its shamansitic, puryifying, and vibrational influence on the ether and elements, promoting more satwa and harmony in the mind of man and nature in general.

This post is about a suggestion for how perhaps music, books, the vedas and movies can be organised into a library format for Sai devotees.

Music & Book & Movie Library

i)
Music Library:- suggestions categorized into 5 human values
(love, truth, peace, right action, non-violence)

If a Yogic Web site was developed, Sai devotees could post suggestions for any of their favorite songs under a human value theme associated with the lyrics and meaning on the song. As a result, a Sai Music Library could be developed with categories for genre, song, singer/group into month, year, 10 year categories with top hit positions. Then devotees could have a data base built up of songs under the 5 values and links to a down load site made available for their access to the music.

ii) 5 Book sections

Such a Web site could also have books divided into 5 sections for micro-dualism, macro-dualism, qualified non-dualism, non-dualism and non-causality; with sub-sections for spirituality, philosophy, humanities/business, arts & sciences.

1. Micro-dualism & Health => Raja Yoga & Ayurveda

Ayurvedic books, Hatha Yoga (Surya Namskar) & David Frawleys Works (sub section) etc...

2. Macro-dualism & Sankhya => Karma Yoga

Bhagvad Gita, Swami man managment books etc...and modern business books with spiritual basis ... "Think can grow rich" to "The secret" .. to Jack Hawleys books etc...

3. Qualified Non-dualism & Jyotish => Bhakti Yoga

Jyotish books (Prashun Trivedi, Frawley etc.) Bhagavatam, Ramayana, Uddhava gita etc...

4. Non-dualism & Advaita => Jnana Yoga

Upanishads, Shankaracharya, Ramana, Nisargadatta, Balsekar, Ekchart Tolle etc...

5. Non-causality & Zen => Zen Yoga

Zen books, enlightened poetry section of different religions (western Blake to Sufism Kabir etc..) advaita non causality gitas etc..

iii) Dvd movies can also be under 5 vedanta section with micro-dualism/ahimsa to non-casuality/peace with movies placed accordingly.

iv) A separate 5 section can be made available for "samudrika" under metaphysics ...
i) numerology/sacred geometry (pentagram-fibinaccio), ii) jyotish & tajika, iii) face reading/phsyiogomny, iv) hand reading/palmistry and body reading/language

v) Round Navagraha table with the 9 planetary booths

Just like pilgrims circumbulate the 9 deities for the 9 planets in temples, a round planetary table with 9 booths can be divided for remedials items and products corresponding to the 9 planets and parts of the brain. eg. Jupiter => Globus Pallidus => Astrological Remedials => Veda

Also the corresponding Veda, Prayers, Strotas, Bhajans etc... can be categorised in the related booth for the deity it is propriating eg. Sri Rudram - Siva Monday to Sri Suktam Laxshami Friday etc.. into 0ne of the 9 booths.

To Healing With Music - Visual harmonics (as coined by John Reading),

Using peoples astrological charts to detect the harmonics in a chart via the predominant aspects (ie. trine = 3rd harmonic, square = 4th harmonic etc.) Then by choreographing number to geometry to sounds to harmonic, visual harmonic mandalas can be created on computers or LAD screens for healing
. (computerised yantras)... Then, you can "see what you hear and hear what you see", and by healing through sound, visual harmonics can become a form of vibrational healing on the brain and music mandalas developed for peoples weakest planet, divisional and harmonic in their chart. This would work much like the Vedas do for a specifc Goddess or a gem for a particualr finger ...the effect of sound and light (vision) on the brain's neural integration and balance.
